Jokowi: Between Prabowo and Ganjar Pranowo

The presidential election event attracted very public attention. Moreover, next year the Indonesian nation will have a new President and Vice President. Jokowi can no longer run as a presidential candidate because he has served 2 terms as President.

At the end of his term, President Jokowi continues to work hard to complete various programs that have been implemented. The relocation of the National Capital (IKN) to the island of Kalimantan requires enormous energy and a long time.

President Jokowi's term will end in October next year, so the next president is expected to have the same spirit to continue the construction of IKN.

It seems that Jokowi expects the President-elect to have a vision and mission that is in line with him. So that work programs that have not been sorted out can be continued until they are completed and benefit the people of Indonesia.

Candidates who are predicted to participate in the presidential election are Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan. Looking at Jokowi's political gestures, he tends to like Ganjar and Prabowo Subianto.

Recently, Ketum Projo Budi Arie Setiadi revealed President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) plan to combine Prabowo Subianto and Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Presidential Election.

If Prabowo Subianto and Ganjar Pranowo can unite on the same boat, it will be a strong presidential and vice presidential pair and almost certainly win. Both electability is very high and supported by 2 major and experienced parties, namely the Gerindra Party and PDI Perjuangan.

Unfortunately, the merger of these two camps is considered very difficult. The electability of Prabowo and Ganjar Pranowo is both high, giving rise to very high political egos. Neither of them wants to budge to be in the position of vice president. Prabowo and Ganjar both want the position of presidential candidate.

Then factor in the supporting political parties. The Gerindra Party, especially the PDI Struggle, wants its champion to be in the position of presidential candidate and does not want the position of vice president. So that the formation of Prabowo - Ganjar or Ganjar - Prabowo is equally difficult to realize.

Jokowi's political gesture to unite the two was seen during a visit to Kebumen. The President took Prabowo and Ganjar to the rice fields together and took selfies. This shows the intimacy between the three, the public also grasped the code that Jokowi wants Prabowo and Ganjar to unite in the presidential election. If this materializes, the presidential election will run easier, smoother and faster, not necessarily 2 rounds.

Jokowi still has not firmly determined which Prabowo or Ganjar will be supported in the presidential election later. Even the word "sunny" that Jokowi conveyed to Prabowo went viral and was interpreted many things by the public.

On another occasion, Jokowi also gave a statement of support to Ganjar Pranowo. Of course, this is a natural thing because Ganjar is one party with Jokowi, namely PDI Perjuangan. It is incumbent upon fellow party cadres to support each other.
